School of choice is an opportunity for out-of-district students to attend Mar Lee School District.

Students who reside in other local school districts within the Calhoun County Intermediate School District, and students who reside in local school districts located in contiguous intermediate school districts, are eligible to apply to Mar Lee School District through the schools of choice application process.

Out-of-district students must complete a Mar LeeD School application for school of choice during the enrollment period.

The enrollment period for new school of choice students for the 2025-26 school year is OPEN until September 12, 2025

Mar Lee has UNLIMITED enrollment for the following grades:

K, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, & 8th

LIMITED slots will be available on July 16, 2025:

We will hold a random drawing if more than the number of students apply. We will also have a waitlist.

When do we find out if our out-of-district student can attend Mar Lee School District?

Families will be notified about the status of their application after the end of the enrollment period.

We offer before-child care starting at 7:30 am and after-school care until 5:30 pm. Commonly referred to as Kidswatch at Mar Lee :)
